Kat + Javel’s Intimate Albany Elopement


This day holds such a special place in my heart. My husband and I took a little road trip out to Albany, NY to celebrate Kat + Javel’s love story — and it ended up being one of those days that felt like pure magic from start to finish.


We met downtown at the capital building and wandered through the beautiful architecture, finding hidden gems and epic photo spots around every corner (even with the building closed, we made it work). The energy between these two was unreal — full of excitement, nerves, and the sweetest love as they geared up to say their vows.


Just a few minutes down the road, surrounded by their closest people, they made it official. Their ceremony was intimate, heartfelt, and so incredibly them. Getting to capture these moments was such an honor — and what makes it even more special is that this day sparked a genuine friendship between Kat and I. It's days like this that remind me why I do what I do.
