From the moment Meghan reached out to me, I knew this was going to be a special journey. After a couple of frustrating experiences with other photographers, Meghan was beginning to feel like her dream wedding photos might be out of reach. But as soon as we connected, it felt like the universe was finally aligning for her. We clicked instantly, and I could feel the weight lifting off her shoulders as we planned her engagement session.
When we finally got to work together, the joy and relief Meghan felt were so evident. It was more than just photos; it was about capturing the essence of her love with Aaron. She called me her "miracle," and I’ll never forget the magic of that moment. Fast forward to their wedding day, and we’ve come full circle—starting from those precious engagement photos to now celebrating their forever.
The day began with me arriving at Meghan’s parents' house to capture the excitement as her bridesmaids prepared for the big day. Meghan, being the calm and collected bride she is, wanted to savor her moments of peace, so we waited until the perfect moment to capture her getting into the dress. Her mom and maid of honor helped her into it, and we had some quiet, tender moments before heading outside for an emotional first look with her dad. Those precious, raw emotions as her dad saw her for the first time in her wedding dress were so special.
We took some bridal portraits out by the family barn before heading to the church, where the magic continued to unfold. Arriving at the church, I rushed to find my spot and get set up to capture every detail of Meghan walking down the aisle. Aaron’s nerves and excitement were palpable as he waited for his bride, and I could feel the anticipation building. Their ceremony was everything Meghan had envisioned—traditional Catholic, with every significant moment captured as she wanted. After the ceremony, we headed to a nearby lake for some fun, lively wedding party photos and followed it up with a few intimate portraits of Meghan and Aaron. From there, the celebration kicked into full gear as we headed to the reception, where speeches, first dances, and lots of dancing brought the night to life.
The entire day was a beautiful reflection of their love, from the quiet, intimate moments to the joyful celebration with their family and friends. Capturing their journey from engagement to “I do” has been an honor, and I couldn’t be happier for Meghan and Aaron as they begin their forever.
